Helpdesk

Helpdesk offers help and support for computer users within the LTH faculty office, the N faculty office, IML and other units and divisions which have a computer support contract with DDG.

You're welcome to contact Helpdesk if you have problems, suggestions, or questions regarding the computers or computer services at these divisions.

Users at EIT should first contact the IT staff at the department, before contacting Helpdesk:

In order to make sure that your case is properly dealt with, we kindly ask you to follow the following instructions when contacting Helpdesk.

E-mail

The most effective way of contacting Helpdesk is by e-mail. Our e-mail address is:

helpdesk@kansli.lth.se

This function address is monitored by the person managing the support on the current day, which may vary.

We kindly ask you to use this e-mail address when contacting us. Please briefly describe the case in the subject, and try to further explain the case in the e-mail.

Telephone

We can also be reached by telephone during office hours. However, between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm we usually have a lunch break.

The telephone extension is:

27600 (full telephone number outside the university +46462227600)

This telephone is in turn forwarded to the person managing the support on the current day, which may vary. In order to make sure your case is properly dealt with, we kindly ask you to only use this number and not other numbers.

Staff

We who run Helpdesk are currently:

  • Per Johansson (support, 80 %)
  • Richard Blohm (support, 100 %)
  • Robert Johnsson (support, 100 %)
  • Christian Rose (development and purchasing)
